The Son of God, Our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity, the Son of God who came to earth to save humanity from sin. He is fully God and fully man, the second person of the Holy Trinity.
Born of the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem, Jesus lived a sinless life, performed miracles, taught about God's kingdom, and ultimately sacrificed Himself on the cross for our sins. He rose from the dead three days later, conquering death and offering eternal life to all who believe in Him.
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6
Jesus is the eternal Son of God, existing before creation and equal with the Father in divinity and glory.
Jesus took on human flesh, experiencing all aspects of human life while remaining without sin.
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus bridged the gap between God and humanity, offering salvation to all.
The angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she will bear the Son of God through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus willingly suffered and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. His sacrifice was the perfect atonement that satisfied God's justice.
"He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed." 1 Peter 2:24
Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, conquering sin and death. His resurrection proves His divinity and guarantees eternal life for believers.
"He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'" Luke 24:6-7
